Nasinu has played Naitasiri twice in the Royal Tea Ranadi competition and they are prepared for their third clash – the grand final this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori at 11am.

Both teams have been promoted to the 2024 ANZ Marama Championship after successfully winning their semi-final games last week. Naitasiri defeated Northland 27-12, while Nasinu edged Lautoka 42-38.

Nasinu coach Tomasi Katonivualiku said the team was ready for the final.

“We came through a tough competition to reach the semi-final,” he said.

“Playing against Naitasiri is not something new, we have played twice during our preseason, and I know it’s going to be an exciting game to watch.

“We are not counting the two games, it’s going to be a different ball game all together.

“We’d like to thank the sponsor Ram Sami and Nasinu Rugby Football Association for giving the young girls the opportunity to showcase their talent in the field of rugby.”

Meanwhile, the ANZ Marama Championship finals will also be held at the same venue on Saturday.

In the under-19 final, Suva will face Nadi at 1pm while Namosi takes on the champion Suva side at 2pm. Entry to the ground is free.
